Dual Credit through TxVSN
High school students requesting access to Blinn College dual credit courses available through TxVSN should read and complete each step of the following admissions process. The admissions process 1-5 described below will all be guided and completed by your high school counselor: begin there!
Admissions Process
1. Complete a paper application : also available from your high school counselor
2 Receive written permission from the high school principal
3. Have a “B” or better average in high school work
4. Submit an official high school transcript indicating course work completed up to the time of enrollment in Blinn College.*
5. Provide documentation on assessment - official THEA, alternative, or exemption test scores.
*Students wishing to continue enrollment at Blinn College following their high school graduation are required to submit a final copy of their high school transcript showing the student’s high school graduation date.
Tuition and Fees
Tuition and fees will be waived by Blinn College for students enrolled in Blinn College dual credit courses available through TxVSN.

If you have never taken an online course through TxVSN, we recommend that you go through the READI-Secondary assessment. Your high school counselor will give you instructions, along with your log-in and password.
